Expanded and nano-structured carbonaceous graphite for high performance anisotropic fuel cell polymer composites

چکیده

We disclose a novel high pressure design, non-destructive structural analysis and fabrication of bipolar plate composites (BPC) that are highly conductive yet mechanically flexible. Here we report the highest electrical conductivity 221 S cm?1 BPC by tailoring graphitic structure carbon nanomaterials their functional attributes through enhancement in-plane as well mechanical strength; another advanced also displays maximum flexural strength 52 MPa. These key efficiency enhancements hydrogen based electric power trains components became relevant for medium to heavy duty transportation. Evidently, tunable, expandable expanded can play major role in facilitating light-weight high-performance plates fuel cell application.
